Alexander Saidov

Throughout high school, Alex Saidov fearlessly embarked on a myriad of challenging passion projects, showcasing his unwavering determination and undying passion. Despite facing obstacles that would have deterred many, he remained steadfast in his pursuit of success, ultimately emerging triumphant. 

Since childhood, Alex had harbored a profound dream of becoming a scientist. This passion for scientific inquiry was ignited during his elementary school years when a classmate gifted him the book “George’s Secret Key to the Universe” by Stephen Hawking. This captivating read delved into the wonders of space,  the vastness of the universe, and the remarkable achievements of scientists. At the tender age of 10, he was fortunate enough to visit a scientific laboratory, where he witnessed firsthand the fascinating work being carried out by brilliant minds. These experiences, combined with his insatiable curiosity, further fueled his determination to become a scientist - to immerse himself in the study and discovery of new knowledge. As Henry Ford once wisely observed, “Whether you believe you can or not, you’re right”. This powerful quote instills confidence in one’s own abilities. It serves as a reminder that as long as he holds on to that belief, he can overcome any obstacle and achieve greatness. Therefore, he remains steadfast in the pursuit of scientific endeavors, knowing that with unwavering belief, he can change the world. 

In addition to participating and winning in numerous Olympiads in Mathematics and Physics, Alex has even emerged as the Bronze medalist of the prestigious International Physics Olympiad LPR Cup. Notably, even during middle school, Alex’s talent shone through as he became a prize winner in a robotics competition. Aside from his academic achievements, Alex has also pursued a passion for music from a very young age. He began learning to play the piano and the violin at the age of four, and even became part of the violin ensemble. With his exceptional musical abilities, Alex won various music competitions and has had the privilege of performing at concerts as a soloist on both the violin and the piano. Moreover, he also showcased his talent as a part of the choir. Alex is also a winner of the International Serbian Piano Competition. He currently actively plays the guitar. 

Not only he is an accomplished individual academically and musically, but he also has ambitious goals for the future. With his passion for AI and VR/AR technologies, he intends to explore projects at the intersection of medicine and AI. Additionally, Alex plans on utilizing their expertise to build websites and resources catered towards students interested in participating in Olympiads. With his wide range of interests and talents, Alex is sure to make a significant impact in his chosen field.

Alex has ambitious plans to double major in Computer Science and Physics at either MIT or Stanford. These prestigious universities provide excellent education and offer a platform to establish global connections, which Alex believes is crucial for his future endeavors. After completing his education, Alex aims to gain valuable experience by working at a top-tier company in order to further develop his skills. Ultimately, his dream is to start his own company, through which he can bring his innovative ideas to life and impact people worldwide. Alex’s ultimate goal is to spread his passion and vision across the globe, positively influencing the world.
